Cannot revoke county title?

I wish to revoke county of Cumberland from one of my vassals. I am the king of Ireland and scotland and I have newly conquered cumberland,northumberland and durham. When trying to revoke one of the three counties from my vassals I am not allowed to do this because it is said that "Crown authority of england does not allows revokation"!!?? But surely this is not right because I have conquered them and they are not part of the kingdom of england anymore?

They are de-jure part of the kingdom of England, therefor they fall under the English law.
