When I try to open a cloud save on the computer I did the saving, while logged in to both Paradox and Steam, I get told "That file does not exist or you don't have the permissions to do that".

I have exactly the same irritating error, and I choose the option to save everything to cloud :-( - and now it says I have not sufficient privileges to my own saves...
I am logged on to my Paradox account, I can do everything else but load a saved game or click "continue"...

Hi Ethorin, did this occur after playing on the Open Beta branch? I just checked on the normal/default game and there I can load my Cloud Saves normally.
Shouldn’t have, unless that’s a default or something. It has only been after the Velociraptor 2 patch.
Okay, so Pre 1.004 saves give that error when loaded into 1.004 or later. Could you zip one of those saves and add it here?
Ummm, all cloud saves, including ones I made last night. Also, on my phone right now, will see about doing the zipping and sending when back on PC
Did this happen after you enabled and later disabled some mods? I’ve had this problem earlier after enabling a mod, saving to cloud and not being able to load the game after I disabled the mod again due to multiplayer incompatibility.
...where do I find the cloud saves? I checked my Documents folder and it's auto saves and the Quicksave, can't find a save folder in the Local Files from Steam Properties.
If there are any Steam saves left on your machine they should be in \Steam\steamapps\temp.
I have four folders under that but none of them seem to have any files.

in a different thread it was mentioned that Paradox Cloudsaves are in fact under a different branch of the Documents folder than I was looking in, think I may have found them so

Hi, those aren't actually saves but we are going to try this differently. Can you launch the game in debug mode through the paradox launcher, try to make a cloud save and then sent us the log? Logs should be located in \Documents\Paradox Interactive\Age of Wonders Planetfall\Logs, that should be able to tell us more about what is going on.
