So the Queen of Aragon is mad at me because she wants vassalage of the Duke of Aragon. I had a hard time finding him because his shield doesn't show up on the map. Finally found him with the Find function. Besides the title of Duke of Aragon, he has a Barony under him in the County of Alto Aragon and that's it. He shows up as my vassal but I cannot transfer vassalage to the queen. Is this a bug? I mean Alto Aragon is within the Duchy of Aragon and thus also within the Kingdom of Aragon. The Duke of Aragon is the Queen's brother and the oldest male heir. How she managed to get the title of Queen of Aragon I'm not sure. They were both fathered by the previous King of Aragon.

The only thing I can think of here is that there is some kind of war going on between the two already (likely a claimant war for the Kingdom of Aragon). You won't be able to transfer the vassalage of someone who is fighting in the war for this title.
It seems if the vassal to be transferred is at war (eg if he's at war with one of his counts) he cannot be transferred (and simply does not show as a transfer option).

I thought it was because he wasn't a count. But he inherited a county from somewhere and I successfully transferred him over to his sister. Problem solved.
