I was really referring to the marketing side of things though, when they mean "North American Release" I assume they mean US, Canada and maybe Mexico are included in this area.

In terms of marketing... I believe "North America" refers to Canada and the USA, while Central America refers to... you know - Central America... I could be completely wrong and all, but I am fairly sure that is the way marketing people split up the pie...

On EBGames.ca (which is new and crappyish [no search function], I believe, as you used to get routed over to the American website of EBGames), no EU3 yet... but you can download Pro Rugby Manager 2005 which is astounding, considering that I had to get the game from England when it first came out, as it wasnt going to be released in North America... surely, if Pro Rugby Manager 2005 is available at EB Games, and Future Shop / Besy Buy has THe Guild 2, EU3 has to be somewhere on the radar...
Still waiting for mine too. I'm sure Paradox shipped it a while ago. I'm cursed when it comes to international orders, insofar as Canada Customs are predictably unreliable. Honestly, it's a total crapshoot when it comes to them. This has been my experience at least.Fookison said:

Its been 5 days and ebgames doesnt even have shipping info about the game reaching there sstores. Is ebgames being left out or do i have to wait longer?

Its American but they don't charge anything more than just shipping (i.e. no customs charges). I just ordered a regular copy (for my dad) and a CE copy (for me) and the shipping was less than $8 American and it should arrive in 4-14 days. Not too shabby since I can't get it here.

Well it's Feb 14th, just visited my local future shop and they still have no clue what Europa Universalis III is or if/when they'll be getting it :-(
I have a futureshop gift certificate so that's one of the reasons I'm waiting hopefully for when it will be in stores here in Canada. Futureshop/Best Buy usually get the games about the same time, considering Best Buy owns Futureshop. If I didn't have a gift card I wanted to use, I'd probably give up and go try and buy it online from gamersgate.

That's not the only thing they dont' have a clue about.....
If you have it in your town, try a more game oriented store chain such as EBGames or the like. It might yield better results?
