Hi i live in Toronto, Canada and i cant find Europa in any futureshop, best buy or ebgames in the whole city. None of the stores even have a date at which they will recive the game. Whats the deal?

no distribution deal in canada. Your best options are probably gamersgate.com or the paradox web shop direct from Sweden.
Susana is looking into the issue. Paradox had intended that their North American distributor would market the game in Canada but somehow the wires got crossed and it never happened. We should be hearing about the deatails soon and the solution.

Or maybe you can ask your local canadian BestBuy guy to have it shipped from a US Bestbuy to your local bestbuy (dont know if they can do that but you can try.......).

If Paradox does'nt want to sell their product in stores then perhaps they'll understand if some people resort to other means including illegal copies.
I prefer buying the retail, boxed version with manual but this is ridiculous.
I am very dissapointed with Paradox and their distributor .....Target.....who obviously missed the target ....badly on this one.
Since when does Target exist in Canada?
The only retailer that has it here in the US that might have Canadian Stores is BestBuy.
And Susana is the Marketing Director for Paradox. Dont go dissing the employees as the Admins and Moderators dont take nicely to it.

Alothugh i am upset you shouldnt be so harsh on the admins. They have nothing to do with whats going on in Canada, all they can do is either direct us to talk to the right people or tell the right people the problem, as they are better connected than us to the heads of pardox. P.S Bestbuy doesnt carry the game either, i checked already, also if bestbuy had it futureshop would to as they belong to them. I hope this problem gets addressed and cleared up a.s.a.p because me and my buds are dieing to get our hands on this game. Also as a footnote to the guys and gals at paradox, next time you say released in North America make sure you arent just talking about the U.S.A because they are other countries in this continent. (Sorry just needed to snub them for a little polite payback)

Ya thank god for GamersGate, otherwise i might never have bothered to get the game. Marketing really screwed the pooch on this one.
yeah, its pretty lame. I couldn't get it. I ended up getting it at gamersgate. I really prefer to have a disk as remembering my password and account a couple years down the road might be a problem.

Canada does not compare to the U.S. market for size but we do compare to the larger European countries..... for Canada to be left out of the marketing for this game is very surprising.
If I can't buy the boxed version then I'll just forget about it and go back to HOI 2 DD , that's a good game too and it's not worth losing sleep over.
Perhaps I'll see EU3 in the Walmart bin one day and pick it up cheap.

At any rate you have my sympathy you cannot find it in a store. I do not bother going to stores to buy games, I use three online services for this.
