Well, yes, can you rename characters while playing them? Sometimes names are so weired I can't even remember who I am.

Nope. But you can name a character the day they're born.

I named them Ruby and Samuel...

Actually, you can edit the save file, but that's the only way, and it is of course ironman-incompatible.
