Can you play one of the older expansions of EUIII if you got Divine Wind??

There are several steam games where the expansion is listed separately, or in the same game and you choose what expansion to play from a steam menu after you launch the game.

Precisely - Steam can do this, but for reasons known only to themselves chose not to with the EU3 expansions.

What we don't know is if they do that normally, or if Paradox should have asked for it.

Because normally only standalone expansions appear as icons themselves.

No problem, I will do that as soon as possible; because despite what that other thread is saying, Steam was still handing out invalid COMS- keys in September.

Well this is depressing. I bought DW on steam only to find that the improved graphics cause it to chug so much that one decade takes over an hour of real-time to play through, even on the highest speed setting. Wish I'd have got HttT instead and ignored the bloody 'can you run it' website.

If you register your EU3 games here we may be able to help you in Tech Support. Also I believe there's a low-res mod available in the User Mods forum that can speed up play.

You need to register your base game (base EU3, collector's edition, Complete, or Chronicles). You have only registered DW.
