I reckon 99% of my unit images are portrait rather than the usual dh horizontal for unit pics. As you can see in the example, the unit parameters overlap the image, as expected.

Ignoring the dark background image, would it be possible to have a switch in the misc.txt flie that aligns up the parameters with the vertical image? Probably 2 columns across the bottom of the space allowed.

I see that even doing that has the text overlapping the image, but I can shorten the image a little to give you a little more room.

In this example I would say that it would be cooler to expand and square the image so that it covers the text backdrop. Than either change the base game font to black (which means everything would need to be changed). Better too draw a darkened backdrop onto the portrait images or even tint the images to a dark greyscale. Would give the mod a unique look. Almost as unique as using the air wings as naval units.
