Can you help a newb?

I'm new at CK, but decent enough, I'd say. I'd like to know what is required to play CK MP. I can't try it right away, right now the laptop I have CK on has no internet, but it's something I'd like to see. Is there any patch/mod I absolutely have to download, or does vanilla 1.04a do just fine? Is there as much action as on the EU2 MP forum, which is forbidden fruit to me since I have Mac 1.07....and I lost my EU CD... but I digress. Help would be appreciated.

You don't really "need" anything other than a connection. 1.04a and 1.04b work fine with MP. Other than that, the best way to see is to actually join a game and see if it works fine.

Well, the betas are atm unplayable in MP, but they have so many good new features, that CK MP-scene is *very* quiet now. I (among others) hold my fingers, elbows and knees crossed and wish Johan would have time to check the CK betas...

Hopefully once you have the connection ok the betas are playble too
