I don't believe so based on today's stream where they said they would not let you out of the mech lab with a damaged mech. I really do hope they eventually make armor cost and allow you to drop with missing components.

I'll need to go back and check their comments. I thought they were saying you couldn't deploy mid-repair. You could elect to not repair damage to shorten repair time to meet a deployment window.

Well, there's damage and there's damage. They might let you drop with armour damage, or critted (but not destroyed) weapons even if they won't let you drop without a left arm.

But after today's stream, I'm really not sure :)

Did you mean internal damage instead of armor? As far as I am aware from the streams, armor is repaired automatically after the drop. Internal takes a bit of time, but isn't too bad. Having to replace sections is where it gets into maybe not deploying? Like missing a leg.

If I remember right you can drop as long as you have one point of structure in all sections and a functional weapon with ammo. (Unless its a laser.). I may be misremembering :)
