Can you actually start caring about the hacking?

2) Paradox could easily fix the problem. Experience shows us that this is not the case. Paradox has known about the issues described for some time now (reported in MP and Bug forums). They have shown that if they can fix such issues, then they do. Past MP issues have taken similarly long to fix and can hardly be the dev team’s sole priority. Bandaid solutions may only cause more issues, and hackers will dig for new workarounds regardless.

We have actually obfuscated and made hacks harder in most major patches (usually we dont write something), but since its client side software there will always be ways to hack it. Making a totally different MP architecture for the 0.4% who play competitive MP with randoms (actually this one is even smaller) makes little sense as it would eat up time from other stuff. I do think requiring accounts so people can be reported or the like would be good long term but something like that would also take time to get to.
