I'm playing a WW1 game as the Ottoman Empire, and Germany and I have obliterated Russia. The Germans have taken St. Petersburg, Kiev, Moscow, Volgagrad, etc, and I've completely conquered the Caucuses, up to Astrakhan and Rostov-on-Don. Problem is, it's only October 1915, and there have not been any events signing peace between the two. I remember a game as Germany I played when the same thing happened: the only way to win against Russia was to wait for the 1917 events sending Lenin back and the coups.
Meanwhile, Germany is being pushed back to the Ruhr on the Western Front because the stupid AI is keeping 40+ divisions either garrisoning all of Russia or randomly sitting around in huge stacks several provinces behind the line. The only reason the French haven't reached Berlin is because I will periodically tag switch to Germany and strategically redeploy their random divisions to the frontlines in France.
