Can we read the manual early? Pretty please?

It's a simple request. Could the manual be uploaded in PDF format? After all, the people who aren't buying a box edition are going to need it anyway.

Being able to read over it this week will allow us to get right into the game (And the GroFaZ challenge!) as soon as it arrives, and would definitely convince me to pre-order.

You know, that could actually be a good business idea for Paradox Interactive, heck the manual is what sparked my interest in Hoi(1), I remember when my buddy bought the game, he didn't like it, thought it was too complex. I read the manual at his house the same weekend, and damn near drooled on it, that is what attracted me to the game. I'd say it'd push people off the fence who are debating on buying the game, not many I'm sure, but still.

Ya I have been seeing this with other wargames/strategy as of late. Admirals edition for War in the Pacific released their 323 page manual a week before release. Interesting idea.

I am a firm supporter of this. Releasing the manual publicly may not be in PI's interests (aiding pirates and the such, same reason people have to register their game to view the tech forums), but a manual available through GG for those that preloaded would be awesome if the system with GG allowed such a thing.

I don't see how the manual could aid pirates. I mean, the download version will surely have a pdf manual, and anyone who bought the game can upload it on any pirate site, so there's hardly any difference, unless I'm missing something.

I remember reading HOI2 manual (which was pretty useless anyway), but helps spending time and waiiiiting. Oh well. Only good manual I have seen was for Civilization. But then again I read manuals on games very rarely.
