Can we please limit charter companies

Can you lock charter companies behind Exploration or Expansion ideas, its so annoying seeing african countries buying up indian or indonesian ports or the classic ottoman indonesia. Limiting it behind exploration will still make it available to all countries but will limit the tradepost spam in asia you see every game where you havent taken all the money from europe and the middle east or already conquerd all of asia.

Only countries with a colonist will charter companies. I am not sure if that is the game already or will come on 9th of june with 1.30 though. But the ottoman or mamluk indonesia will probably continue to happen since they often take the specific ideas you named.

Well, yes. There should really be a lower weight for inland sea ports, like in the Mediterrainean.

There's one way to fix this: chartering the nth company in the same trade region would have a -5n modifier, this would reduce the number of trade companies greatly.
