Can we please get a humanoid portrait based off our boys?

Before you say anything, yes of course I copy pasted this thread, but I don't use grey aliens. I don't like any xenos else bogging this game down.

We have those hairless apes that can be Chimps with those small eyes but they more resemble chimp shaped pigs.

The ape are classic Scifi it honestly surprises me we don't have a humanoid portrait based off these guys. They've given out portraits for their anniversary before I'm really hoping we get a Stellaris team made version of these guys some day. Partition for these guys!

I would love to make a post apocalyptic race of these aliens based of the apes from planet of the apes, I also really want to make a fanatic Purifier empire based of the apes 2001 a space odyssey.


Ok all jokes aside I liked the other guys thread but I really want apes in this game so I can uplift them and play as them on earth and do classic ape scenarios. There's even an achievement with apes but you can't actually uplift any!

I've wanted a proper ape portrait in humanoids for a while. There's a lot that could be done with it.

1) New origin / event that puts presapients on your homeworld. These would be the default for Earth.

2) They could be used for Earth-based synthetic evolution. Bonus points for the Planet of the Apes scenario.

3) We could get a new Pliocene primitive earth to discover, home to presapient apes just waiting for us to send down the Monolith and uplift them.

4) If your humans love the Worm, and it creates a more primitive-looking version of your Species, this should be the portrait you change into.

I got a cockroach earth world today. Wish I could have a 'presapient' earth with monke on it instead. Still pretty good.

We now have dolphins so I think it'd be great to have a scenario where dolphins rule over a slave cast of humans like in that one simpsons episode.

You know, back then when Syncretic Evolution didn't let you customize your second species, if you started on Earth they weren't a random species like in all other cases. They were intelligent apes, obviously a reference to Planet of the Apes series. Sadly they just reused this portrait:
