If you integrate a hive mind or machine empire as a normal empire and one of their planets has this drone deviancy modifier you cannot get rid of it

Infact if you reach 0 crime the event triggers as if it was a normal crime removal but the deviancy drone modifier doesnt actually get removed. Which means it will get triggered again and again...

Can we please get paradox attention to solve this annoying bug once and for all?

A hotfix or something please

I just saw this bug has been reported for several versions ago.
Below is an example report but there are more reports across different versions


Sorry if Im being pushy but can we get paradox on this already and fix it?
It seems like its a relatively simple bug to fix but no responses from support in the various bug reports and it seems the bug just slipped the net

Any news?

Paradox hasnt yet patched this and there is no feedback

To replicate this bug all they need is to conquer or integrate a planet with criminal job modifier from a hive mind or machine empire while playing as a normal empire

I found cause for this. According to events/crime_events.txt file crime removal event only removes crime modifiers of your empire type (non-gestalt, hive mind or machine empire), while not touching others.

hey, while i understand that there are previous bug reports, if you want this to get attention from and get on the "to do list" of the devs who check bugs then you really need to file it with a new report.

hey, while i understand that there are previous bug reports, if you want this to get attention from and get on the "to do list" of the devs who check bugs then you really need to file it with a new report.

This is correct. A new bug report on the latest version with a save is what's required, not bug reports from 5 versions ago, no offense intended. :D

Same happens with Criminal Underworld as a Hivemind, I ate all of you Inaris! Stop being ghost criminals!

ok but what if instead of removing this, it became a low chance event and they gave it flavour text for psionic hiveminds feeling the souls of those they ate and it causing deviancy :p

I would be strangely comfortable with this bug if that was the tooltip flavor text!

"Sorry, drones, you're all haunted now. Sucks!"

Content concerning hives has a dev priority of 0.

I'm betting when the unity/sprawl rework goes live, they will have forgotten hives exist again and synapse drones will have been changed to managers.
That's precisely how much attention hives get.
