I just spent about 30 years of game time stuck on the revolution disaster, with the interface not telling me there were any rebels, thinking the game was bugged. Finally, I noticed Spanish particularists on Taiwan. I had integrated Spain roughly 100 years prior. Some sort of notification that you have provinces under rebel control would be very nice.
