Pretty much what it says in the title. When I'm playing a colonial nation I dread invading India. Of course it's super easy to steamroll the area as a European, but once you own all of the land you have to meticulously click on every single province to TC them. It's such a tedious endeavor that I usually just start a new game once I've reached that point. In my mind I'm like, "Welp, I've practically won anyways. No reason to subject myself to this." I know that seems childish on the surface, but there are plenty of other issues that arise around this point in the game that make it pretty monotonous.

I could dive into all of the different kinds of busywork late-game EU4 throws at you, but this one in particular seems like it could be fixed by just having the TC button on the states tab instead of the individual provinces tab. This would technically be a nerf to Trade Companies, as you would have to commit an entire state to it thus reducing flexibility, but it would drastically speed up the process. They'd also have to re-balance the TC upgrades since they would all work on a statewide level, but this doesn't seem too difficult to implement in my mind.

What does everyone think of this suggestion? I feel like this would be a small but important step toward making late-game EU4 more streamlined. Thoughts?

Btw there could be a similar button when making peace to the ones in the new world, 'concede colonial la plata'. In this case with trade regions.
