The United Kingdom of Yugoslavia can get cores on Greece, not the original UK.

Edit to add: More specifically: If Yugoslavia completes the "Reunite the Kingdoms" focus, it annexes and cores all its existing puppets with their capitol in Europe. So way more than Greece. I personally played Yugo and got cores on Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Czechoslovakia, and parts of Italy. You could theoretically add Germany, France, Spain, the USSR, the UK, the rest of Italy, and a whole bunch of minors to that list.

You'll need to be more specific. I'm not aware of any particular issue that commonly occurs. Do they mean say the UK refusing to give you Cyprus back? Do they mean the UK taking land from Turkey if they agree to split it with you? Do they mean UK taking Rhodes/Dodecanese from Italy instead of giving it to you in a post-WWII peace conference? Do they mean the UK not backing Greece against German demands in their ultimatums and Greece backing down? Or do they mean some scenario unknown to me where say the UK occupies Crete?

The impression I had from it was there was supposed to be some mechanism where UK could claim some areas of Greece if Greece become closely tied to it. But since I had not read about it anywhere else, I wondered how that works.

Found it, interesting part in bold(note, this is steam review... I hope it's allright to post it, if not I would appreciate if modder could either leave the relevant part with enough context or let me try to do it):
"
NO... JUST NO
Its not possible to find so meny mistakes and bug in a "dlc".
Its even worst than death or dishonor. At least in death or dishonor you did a focus tree and thats ok its works in this expansion pack you do a focus tree and everything is broken, even if you go "Historical" in 1941 everything stop make sense. FOR EXAMPLE, d-day started in 1939 and soviet enter allience with axis, i repeat in historical. In another run, I took greece and i got the democratic path, i like how accurate is to go from democratic to fasist if the dont help for the major power and if they help you you stay democratic but thats not the problem, the problem is that they decide to help you and they ruin your run, france cant do s*it and UK for some resone they take all the land and my cores. And this is not the only problem the other problem is F****** ROMANIA they C**kBLOCK EVERY F***** FOCUS TREE IN THIS ******** EXPANSION PACK. I tried 16 runs and all the runs with greece and bulgaria (i dont try with turkey becose i belive turkey its to powerfull for my standards) and every time i did war Romania just protect everyone in balkans, thats not the problem here the problem is that they enter in faction as fast as posible and the start ww2 in '38 ~ '39 IN EVERY ROUND.
I belive the expansion pack is good but its not ready its full of bugs and if you play for the achivement its ruins you 80% of your runs.
Oh i forgot the new bug that when the enemy take the airport that you have your planes you lose them all, not to the enemy, just the airplane vanish!
"
Note: I tend to play predominantly as Britain(/UK/ENG/whatever), so actually being able to steal Greece lands would be interesting for me :) I.e., I'm wondering how this feature works as it's not explained anywhere, I'm not criticizing it (although that review does).

The "UK take all my land and my cores" bit you highlighted, sounds like the usual nonsense from a peace conference, i.e. UK takes Rhodes and the Dodecanese (which are Greek core) from Italy. They would not be UK cores, though.

Small aside, but while the ai should probably prefer giving non-core enemy territory to allies with cores, if after WWII the UK wanted to keep the Dodecanese as naval bases to supplement Cyprus/project power in the region or something, it's not like Greece could have really done anything about it.
