Wrong order, the intern is asking PDX if they can collect data for thier schoolwork from the looks of it. Schoolwork about information overload in strategy games where some... leading questions are asked. But it tells us nothing about PDX's intentions.
I think the forums stripped your emphasis out. I can't find it even in the page source.

Anyhow, if that's how it is, I guess that survey isn't such a big concern.

I still don't like that that Current Situations apparently exists because of "information overload," however. EU4 had a perfectly good alert system. It probably could have been better, but this feels like a step in the wrong direction.

Can we have this one next? Why do we even need 3d portraits, taking good 33% of tab's space when it could be filled with relevant information?

It's curious how you used on the left a very old Victoria 3 screenshot. It really shows how at their core, these screens used to have a more useful design before the game was released.

It's like someone at some point looked at those early prototypes and said: "Guys, by placing all this important and relevant information in one screen, aren't we harming our art and 3d department? They should see their work to be more prominent in the game! Let's leave...say...25% of good things and scatter everything else across the tabs"

I don't understand the information overload argument. It feels none of the other tabs adhered to this philosophy - the tabs you use for normal gameplay - since ya gotta sift through a bunch of crap and click a lot of different things just to change the one thing you want. It's like I'm playing OOTP or a Gary Grigsby title.
