Can the U.K become Fascist and join Axis?

I know that Countries can flip. I've watched many streams. But the U.K. Starts as the leader of the Allies.

So as for the title.

I know that it is possible to dismantle factions, given that some certain conditions are met. So, yes, it is possible, but it will not be easy, not by a long shot.

Yes.
A faction can be disbanded if there's nobody else but the leader (I'm not totally sure, nut lilr 80%), and when you flip fascist the other Allies start not liking you, so you should be able to do it.

Some nations can flip easier than others. Sweden might for instance flip either communist or fascist rather easily while it might require a civil war for a country like the US. I don't know where the UK lies on this scale.

Yes, but is is one of the worst countries to attempt to do so with due to:

a) It has a national spirit giving 50% slower ideology drift.
b) Nothing in its national focus tree helps to change ideology.

If you're fast though, you should be able to get to around 50% fascist support by early 1939 if you start immediately (give or take, my maths is rough and I haven't factored in events).

Yes; I've seen pictures with Edward on the throne, and a Union Jack with fascist lightning bolt. I think Sir Oswald Mosley is also available as a fascist leader.

I believe the Commonwealth will leave the Allies if you become fascist, and anyone else you've invited will start to dislike you, so by the time the war starts it's probably quite possible to go fascist- though half the UK's power lies in leading the Commonwealth, so it may not always be the best decision. (Still something I'm going to try pretty early on!)

I was under the impression that the UK was the only member of the Allies at the start, so you could disband the faction if you don't invite anyone to it. Then you just have to flip your government. Time frame for it is probably quite long, but you don't have to join the wars. Just be careful that Italy doesn't go after your African lands, or Japan goes for Hong Kong, otherwise you wouldn't be able to join the Axis.

I believe the Commonwealth (Canada, South Africa, Raj, Australia, New Zealand) starts in the Allies as well; in this title, the UK doesn't have direct control over them (I believe a few of them may be puppets though).

I think Mosley is the default fascist leader for Britain. There are events for Edward VIII to take control of the government.

There weren't. Not in the UK. The BUF got minimal support in the elections they contested and were run out of town when they tried to organise marches.

UK can turn fascist, but it would be a challenge as a player controlled UK without mods or cheats.
