Jiminov Cricket,

I'd be ROFL right now if I wasn't at work and didn't want to attract a commotion. <chuckle> Dr. Thumbski... <snort> seriously, I've got to visit the Land Down Under some day. You are a funny funny guy... possibly sick & twisted, but I mean that in a good way.

I am what God made me ;(. One has to have a sense of humor to work with all these Swedes .... :D

Dragon,

I am sure Johan will remember the General Staff when the EU2 beta comes along.

Bloody hope so. Let's look into a crystal ball and repeat some history:

EU #2 1792-1920.

'Where's the Dutchy of Warsaw / Congress Kingdom / New Poland ?', asks Sapura

'The whaty of what-what?', asks no-one in particular :D

'@#*#@*#*@#*!@*!@*#*!@', exclaims Sapura.

:)

Marcus,

Definition of spare time for you: 3 minute water and dry bread break before your project leader whips your butt back to working on code. What is it with you Swedes, every second one is a bloody programmer!

Sapuralicious.

Well, I personally think this particular thread is hysterical. Talk about going waaaaaaaaaaay off topic. :) I'm not stopping until I get my hands on the goodies I know are lurking in the private forum.

Tom - Yeah, I'll have some time to play this game... once it ships. But by then the baby may be all grown up and moved away ;)

Dragon - I don't know if we can count on just being generals to make the grade for EU 2. However, perhaps a few well-placed $$$ will help, or perhaps a few cases of beer.

Sapporo - Perhaps they'll honor your ceaseless devotion to EU by naming some random non-historical Polish military leaders after you. Just imagine it: Colonel Lecherous Sapura, Cavalry Commandant or else Major General Sapura 'El Loco' Kiebasa, Northern Army Chief. The possibilities are endless!

Actually the private forum is so boring and mundane it almost makes my head spin (or maybe its just the flu). Still it's nowhere near as 'entertaining' as the general forum.

Beer would work, without a shadow of a doubt. But it'd have to be some serious amounts..

Heh heh, I re-named the Polish military leaders myself, both historical as well as 'random' some while back. Look for one with my surname in there somewhere <G>. Perhaps I should put this 'eastern egg' into every monarch / leaders file I've edited, hmmm .. nah :)

I support the idea of opening the private forum! And judging from the 4300 something posts in there, there is a lot of activity! But I don't get it, how come so few beta testers be in the public forum??

Guys, the private forum is private for a reason :)

But I don't get it, how come so few beta testers be in the public forum??

They feel the non beta testers are inferior ;) Just kidding, most of them are too busy to chat between playtesting the game / discussing the changes in the private forum and going about their everyday lives.

Thanks for defending us beta-testers, Sap!
I just waste too much time reading the forums, so who speaks of writing more ?

(I will never become general though...)
Hmmmm...

I am really making efforts tonight ! !
And thanks to address me messages Jiminov, I feel obliged to answer. That's one kind of a virtuous circle, isn't it?

Yann -

Since your posts are interesting, I'm always glad to answer - so it is I who should be thanking you.

Based on the amount of time I spend on this board, I don't know if the word is 'virtuous' or if 'plain old crazy' is a better description.
