You technically can't, but there is a way around it.

Start the game as Dakota or Navaho tribe.

Use columbus cheat to see the whole map.

Sit back and watch.

There is also a cheat code which automatically chooses an option in all events so that you can suppress the spam, but I don't recall what it is.

surprised you would know:rolleyes: ;)

You can also just cut it off before you start the game. Watching the AI isn't much fun anyway since they can completely overrun a country and only take military access in peace.

You do not need that cheat as you can toggle Fog of war on and off in the option screen from within the game.

If ur machine is crap, don't type in columbus and pappenheim, as it will go even slower. :D Save the game, then pause and type in columbus and pappenheim, take a look around and check who's doing what atm, then load up the save and continue, with no knowledge of anything and a creepy fog everywhere. :D

it would be fun to sit back and watch a multiplayer game, but i have to agree that the screwy nature of the AI would lead to more "why the hell did they do that" than "wow, thats really cool to see" happenings

Kris can you please use the quote button on the post you are responding to. I have had a problem with understanding who you were responding to in your last few posts in other threads. :(
Using the quote key helps with clarity and being able to follow the thread easier.

You cannot watch MP games because cheat codes do not work. Or is that what you were trying to say?

He is apparently referring to the actions of the AI making no sense, while conceding that watching an MP game would be interesting (but one would probably rather be playing in it).
