Also, Qasim-formed Russia should be called Russian Khanate.

This.

You can mod the game to create your own tag...or simply change the flag and the localization files to be Russian Kha(ga)nate and a dragon instead of the two-headed bird for RUS.

I like the idea of al-Rus, even if you're Orthodox.
Qasim Tsardom, then make a decision in 18th century to become Qasim Empire :p
Empire of Qasim

Empire of Russians, so why not Empire of Qasim?
Empire of Romans, Empire of the house of Othman... etc...
Subscribed! This is quite an impressive feat.

Also, Qasim-formed Russia should be called Russian Khanate.
I copied Russian Nation decision but made it available exclusively for Qasim Khanate. I've also created new nation and named it al-Rus. Russian Khanate is ok, but having King as ruler of Khanate until end of the game is a bit dull to me. And I really like al-Rus. I also copied all mission and decision, except conquer Qasim Khanate:)rolleyes:) and move capital to St. Peterburg.
Requirements for al-Rus are same as Russia, as are given cores. I think that it would be realistic as whoever claim throne of all Russians would lay claim on all Russian lands.
Country color is between Qasim and Russia, I really like that shade of green.

And here's the flag:

alrusflag96.jpg

Hopefully, we will see al-Rus in action soon:D

If someone come up with better name, I can easily change it.

Lithuania is going to be a big problem someday...
Indeed. I hope that I will own Siberia by that time, but that won't happen for next 100 years at least.

now blanket siege muscowy quicker than they occupy you ^^
This.

The war probably needs to end fast.
Qasim Khanate will crush Moscowy! :D
That's the plan!

Episode 11 – The Great War
coa32.png

But they haven’t waited for long:

c2-war61.jpg

Qasim need to act fast now. As precaution, Sarai is scorched. Astrakhan will follow as soon as our armies get there.

First battle is won:

c2-battle30.jpg

Having level 2 forts in scorched Astrakhan and Sarai might prove crucial as main Muscowy army will have to go trough there.

Two crucial battles are won on a same day, and Moscow is under siege:

c2-battle31.jpg

Kalamykia is also scorched.
Moscow is Qasim once again, and so is Perm this time:

c2-battle32.jpg

Muscowy King are starting to realize what is going on:

c2-button8.jpg

But we laugh at this proposal. Still, something is very wrong here. Where the hell are those doomstacks with over 30 regiments that we saw million times fighting rebels? Have they been broken by Black Sheep?

Meanwhile, right on schedule:

c2-screen43.jpg

We could’ve lost that missionary had their siege succeeded.

We lose important battle:

c2-battle33.jpg

Had this been won, that would probably mean the end of Muscowy. Now, we need to try harder.

Another siege is won:

c2-battle34.jpg

Vladimir follows:

c2-battle35.jpg

Lithuanians are ruining our plans once again, but it is not all that bad.

Georgia offers peace:

c2-war62.jpg

And it is accepted. They are let off the hook once again, as we have more important place to spend our infamy on. Those mines are not going anywhere.

Our mighty capital is finally connected with rest of the nation:

c2-battle36.jpg

Enemies are routed from our lands:

c2-battle37.jpg

Tula is down, and with majority of their armies going to Nizhny-Novgorod, we might be set for a final showdown:

c2-battle38.jpg

There were in fact two showdowns, with very curious results:

c2-battle39.jpg

But we still have enough regiments in the region to wipe them out.

Lithuanians spread deeper in Russia, but are still taking Tatar lands:

c2-war63.jpg

We have warscore needed to fulfill our objective, but infamy is still problem. War will need to go on then, at least for another year. Fortunately, we have the upper hand.
We lose battle of Vladimir once again, but Muscowy lose their King there:

c2-battle40.jpg

And throne is taken by Regency Council. Muscowy is on their knees. But Tatars smell blood:

c2-war64.jpg

This have potential to get out of the control now.

Moscow seems done like dinner. You wiping 8-regiment stacks over and over is enough to break anyone.

Now quickly, peace and grab. It's okay if Nogai grabs Moscow provinces, by the by, since they cost less BB to declare on and take land from.

Nice flag etc.

Hi there, I just started reading this, and it's been interesting to follow.

Being fairly new to EU3, I didn't even know of Qasim Khanate's existence, and it's been fun to see you take a landlocked vassalised minor state and get it to the point where it can compete with the big boys.

I think your idea of al-Rus is great. Love the flag, and the green dragon is much better than the feeble Russian eagle :D

Ending the war now would probably be good. That way Muscowy would be able to hold its own against Nogai. But good work. :)

One does simply gang-bang a human mind...
Defence in depth is not hard in Russia, but difficult against nomads.
All infidels shall burn!:D

Well how big is your infamy? Have you hired good diplomats?
It ranged between 18 and 33 in last few decades. I've got three -0.15 diplomats now, best I could get, but really bad King.

Moscow seems done like dinner. You wiping 8-regiment stacks over and over is enough to break anyone.

But Muscowy is not in war with Nogai :)

Thx :)

Btw, does anyone know how Paradox came up with this dragon? I've searched for hours to find any Qasim flag but had no success. There is just modern Kasimov flag/coa and it have some galley boat or something like that on it.

Dragon was on old Tatar flags, but ones I found are almost exactly same as Kazan flag and have nothing to do with this Qasim one. Have they just made it up or I failed to find it?

After you form al-Rus, then what are your plans? Invade Georgia? Lithuania?
I plan to get rid of Tatars and colonize Siberia historically and eventually reclaim all Russian, maybe all East Slavic lands from Lithuania and try to keep roughly nation withing historical borders. Considering I'm a little late on that, there probably won't be much time for anything else anyway:)

And Georgia is one of first priorities.

muscowy should be ready to cede 3-4 juicy provinces by now :D
My infamy might not be ready for that:D

Episode 12 – Muscowy Is Going Down
coa32.png

With new treat from the south, war exhaustion rising and treasury dropping, we have no choice but to call for a peace with Muscowy:

c2-war65.jpg

Kasimov is no longer isolated, Moscow now is, and we kept under infamy limit. Those are good things. Bad are that we could have done better and that it will take at least to more wars to get all requirements for Russia, including Moscow.

But there’s no time for crying nor celebrating, it is Jihad on Qasim once again:

c2-war66.jpg

This time they are talking business. And our armies are all over the place. This will be fun.

It took just one defeat for Black Sheep to let it go:

c2-war67.jpg

Now for Nogai. They won’t be let off easily this time. Providing they have some spare ducats.
Mightiest of our foes, Kazakh, also accepted white peace without much fuss.

Swedes are being nice again:

c2-screen44.jpg

But as Nogai was broke this time again, white peace it had to be with them also:

c2-war68.jpg

Then, a rather interesting development. And yes, all those provinces defected to Nogai:

c2-screen45.jpg

We couldn’t have taken those provinces now even had we remained in a war with Nogai because of our infamy limit. But in a few years it will be walk in the park. If they manage to keep them together. Anyway, only way for Muscowy is down from here, barring some kind of a miracle.

There is new neighbor in region:

c2-screen46.jpg

Burgundy in the unlikeliest of all expansions.

Instead of punishing Finland, they are back in our alliance:

c2-screen47.jpg

We also greet Trebizond back:

c2-screen48.jpg

This is mainly done to poke Georgia.
Speaking of Georgia, it was about time that Persians got something from them:

c2-war69.jpg

And they are on the move again:

c2-war70.jpg

We will respond to be polite, but there won’t be sending armies to Persia. Trebizond is down quickly, and we will now collect war taxes and sign white peace:

c2-war71.jpg

Kazan is gone:

c2-screen49.jpg

We will now wait for next war against Muslims to take that province and open door for colonization.

We get another core:

c2-screen50.jpg

Muscowy is not looking good:

c2-screen51.jpg

Moment when majority of our missionaries complete their tasks, and when Muscowy sign peace with Bavaria and hopefully disband some armies that are bankrupting them Qasim Khanate will go in a war again.

At this point, I think that the rebels are a bigger threat than Muscovy's armies. They could defect to someone else.
