Bohemia seems to have the upper hand here ^^
Everyone have upper hand against Austria these days :)

Good, you have met your match it seems against Germany. That you may have a lot of great battles, good luck.
Hopefully.

The Reich vs. the Russian...Dragon?

And yes, anyone colonising my Pacific seaboard is an enemy for the rest of history.

Britain and their colonies, lol - York as the 14th colony especially!
Northumberland defected back soon enough tho :)

Eagle might soar the skies free today, but tomorrow the dragon shall leave his cave and there shall rain fire and ash. :p
And beer shall be stolen.
Only beer ?? Why not the eagles sharp claws Russian Dragon could use some toothstick's
German Eagles - taste like chicken.
Amen

Expansion is all good, but what is the ultimate goal? Borders of 19th century Russian Empire?
Something along these lines.

Episode 9 – Aftermath Of Kamchatkan War
coa2-32.png

Bohemia responded, but Austrian HRE didn’t:

c4-war53.jpg

They have decent armies, but nothing to be too afraid.

Scandinavians see this as a chance to reclaim lost lands:

c4-war54.jpg

Whatever happens, Bohemia will probably be too busy to fight al-Rus.

Riga falls quickly and is OPM once again:

c4-war55.jpg

But this time they have nowhere to expand.

And Bohemia, war exhausted, just wanted to see our backs:

c4-war56.jpg

Without barely any fight, this war is over.

But Portugal still don’t want to accept white peace. Nor any other peace.

Bohemia is losing ground on other fronts:

c4-war57.jpg

War with Austria is maybe little more than they could chew.

Portugal takes Kamchatka back:

c4-battle26.jpg

We had become too complacent in far east and left province undefended. It will take some time now before our army gets there and reclaims it.

Only way to pacify Portugal is to invade their homeland. Our diplomats have managed to secure us military access to there through all lands, but we need to avoid Germans, who also have military access trough Venice:

c4-map3.jpg

Bohemia finally makes peace with Austria:

c4-war58.jpg

They almost cut way home to our invading force in Portugal, as there is no chance that Bohemia would grant us military access.

Kamchatka is reclaimed:

c4-map4.jpg

But Portugal is still unwilling to peace.

New heir is born, but he is only marginally better than last:

c4-screen33.jpg

But while Portugal don’t want to stop war with al-Rus, they are more than willing to accept peace with Granada:

c4-war59.jpg

al-Rus army finally arrives to Iberia:

c4-battle27.jpg

Portugal will now surely be more open to negotiations.

Their army is crushed:

c4-battle28.jpg

Even with Lisboa conquered, they still want to fight:

c4-battle29.jpg

Looks like al-Rus will have to teach them a lesion.

They accepted peace at last:

c4-war60.jpg

But not before all of their Iberian possessions were under al-Rus occupation.
After five years of hostilities, Kamchatkan war is finally over.

After the war, the greatest Orthodox alliance in history is formed:

c4-screen34.jpg

It’s worth noting that Montenegro converted to Orthodox all provinces except Athens. Infidels are being kicked out of Greece. This is also first al-Rus alliance formed after few centuries. Last one was with Lithuania. All alliances in meantime were result of releasing nations.

Two Slavic nations will now stand together against rest of the world.

bohemia might give military access, if they are more afraid of you attacking them than anything else.
I'm not sure AI can use that logic :)

Just kick some German ass you have more troops or just use your secret weapon : RUSSIAN WINTER
They have superior units, but nothing beats Russian winter :)

Baltic grab, check.

Kamchatka reclaimed - check.

MARCHING TO PORTUGAL - Whaaaaaa...?
There was no other way for them to accept peace:rolleyes:

alternate Russia allied to alternate Serbia , nothing strange here ^^
Indeed. But it's not like we were ever allies:rofl:

Lol i think Portugal just would move their capital to new world and become more richer :p

New world = Unknown word to Al-Rus
I've seen them do that before, but not this time.

'Greater Serbia' at that.
Actually, this Montenegrin territory here is greater even than Dusan's Empire. Serbia never controlled Bosnia, nor really attempted until moronic wars in 1990s.:)

coa2-32.png
Episode 10 – Montenegrin Balkans And Enlightened al-Rus
coa2-32.png

Montenegro seeks to expand:

c4-war61.jpg

al-Rus sent armies to help them.
But it was unnecessary:

c4-war62.jpg

No one came into Hungarian defense, and Wallachia annexed them two days later. Probably shortest war in history.

Time has come to annex Riga:

c4-button14.jpg

Bohemia is the only power to stand by them:

c4-war63.jpg

Yet again war against Bohemians it is then.

Riga is annexed quickly:

c4-war64.jpg

Now, just to convince Bohemia again that they don’t stand chance against al-Rus.

First battle is won at Krakow:

c4-battle30.jpg

And second at Lubin:

c4-battle31.jpg

Some wrong calculations have been made, and our army is caught in trap:

c4-battle32.jpg

We took Bohemians too lightly this time. Reinforcements are called from the east.

al-Rus wins great battle of Plock:

c4-battle33.jpg

But we are losing to many soldiers and too many mistakes have been made. It is time to sign a peace.

c4-war65.jpg

They were surprisingly eager to sign a peace and give us one rich province.

Montenegro then goes to war again:

c4-war66.jpg

al-Rus will follow them, but this will end fast.
And it did:

c4-war67.jpg

Montenegrin dominance on Balkans continue. And so do their warmongering:

c4-war68.jpg

Again, this was quick, unopposed annexation. Venice once again decided to ignore Montenegro.

New national idea for al-Rus is espionage:

c4-sliders4.jpg

Once again, it is not all that useful, but neither are others available.

Portugal still struggles to recover from Kamchatkan war:

c4-screen35.jpg

Iberia is now in mess like France and Granada is growing stronger and stronger.

Montenegro goes to final Balkan war:

c4-war69.jpg

Once again no major power opposes Montenegro and they, of course, annex Muslim Morea.

Almost entire Balkans now answers to Montenegro, an it will be interesting to see where will they take it from there:

c4-map5.jpg

Back in Kasimov, decade of investing in government tech pays off:

Mustafa ‘Ali Veliki, greatest al-Rus and Qasim King ever, after almost forty years of rule, changes government type:

c4-screen36.jpg

al-Rus is now Enlightened Despotism, with forty years to go.

Not entire Balkans, but almost all of Greece.
bohemia is quite a challenge.
But they have Germany on one and al-Rus on other side. If they make it, that will be miracle :)

It is not enough to be the greatest country, you must also throw all the other great countries into chaos

Enlightened Despotism, I like that. This is actually my favourite type of government in the game, if only for RPing.
I picked it for RPing of course, as Russia was Enlightened Despotism. And that infamy reduction is nice.

Montenegro fights the LAST Balkan War?

Sounds...unlikely...

Spain is a mess... Enlightened Despotism is not bad at all.
At this rate, there won't be much things left to war over in Balkans :)

Connect al-Rus to your ally!
Or, let them connect to us, as there is no point in al-Rus going south :p

Just read through the whole thing... very nice work. Subscribed for the ending!
Thanks ;)

that purple on the balkans is still burgundy?
with all their loses they could barely defend it right? :D
Yup, that's them. Somehow, nobody else but them have cores on those provinces, so there are not much rebels, if there are rebels at all.

Wow, I've not seen an AI Granada that big.

Nice government change. The reduction of infamy will come in handy.
Maybe you missed, but this Granada managed to Westernize on top of everything:rofl:

Some really remarkable achievements by AI in this game.

Episode 11 – Mustafa ‘Ali Travels To Holy Land
coa2-32.png

Mustafa ‘Ali wants to consolidate entire central Asia and take Altaic provinces from Khorasan:

c4-button15.jpg

Everyone responds:

c4-war70.jpg

Only Mamluks have worthy armies but they are far away. Khorasan is also involved in war against blobby Bihar on south.

Desired four provinces are taken, but warscore is not enough for peace deal:

c4-map6.jpg

Looks like al-Rus will need to go deep into Khorasani territory.

Bohemia is kicking Austria around:

c4-war71.jpg

They will become real problem very soon at this rate.

Khorasan main army is defeated and they lose capital:

c4-battle34.jpg

Even this is not enough for peace we want. But when al-Rus took control of some more provinces, it was enough:

c4-war72.jpg

Mamluks accepted white peace few weeks latter.

Just two more Altai provinces to go in Central Asia, and they belong to Khiva. Good thing is that al-Rus have mission to conquer one of them. Bad is that they are allied with Great Britain and guaranteed by Persians.

Mustafa ‘Ali wants to be one that will conquer Central Asia:

c4-button16.jpg

Persians were smart enough to back off, but Brits are here. If they were the leaders we could be playing “The Great Game”:

c4-war73.jpg

Thankfully, Mamluks are the leaders.

War with Khiva is over quickly:

c4-war74.jpg

But Mamluks are unwilling to accept white peace this time.

We had to go to the desert and fight them:

c4-battle35.jpg

al-Rus had to go all the way to Cairo for them to accept peace:

c4-war75.jpg

And what a peace. Holy Land is back under Christian rule, and Orthodox this time.

Montenegro continue their conquest:

c4-war76.jpg

They are successful as usual.
This time, they also got something from Wallachia:

c4-war77.jpg

Then, we get core on Budjak via border friction event. Time is to send armies at Burgundy:

c4-button17.jpg

They are heavily allied, but it’s been a while since al-Rus had any real challenge.

Response is good and forces are evenly matched:

c4-war78.jpg

This promises to be an exciting war.

c4-screen37.jpg

And first battle might be the most decisive one, as Burgundy have 74 regiments in Budjak.

After twenty days of fighting and heavy casualties on both sides, al-Rus takes the upper hand:

c4-battle36.jpg

On Asia Minor front, things have started even better:

c4-battle37.jpg

And Ottomans are first to capitulate:

c4-war79.jpg

The war have started well, but we will se how will it end, as our enemies have more than competent armies.
