I can not select XL world on my PC but I can on laptop. I thought it was because PC only has 4 GB ram and laptop has 6. But I upgraded PC to 8 and it did not fix the issue. Any ideas on what I need to do to fix?

First you pc don't get the system requirements:

Minimum:
OS: Windows Vista 64-bit, Windows 7 64-bit

Recommended:
OS: Windows Vista 64-bit, Windows 7 64-bit or Windows 8 64-bit

But i don't know if this leads to this error.
Which OS has your laptop? Maybe a 64 bit?

You know that by upgrading to 8GB you have not gotten any advantage until you change your OS to 64bit?

Anything above 4GB is waste with 32bit OS, since it can only address less then 4GB of memory, and only up to 2GB per application.

P.S.
Fun fact: Warlock 2 is still 32bit game (has no separate exe for 32bit and 64bit and runs on both), but on 64bit systems you can run 32bit application with up to 4GB reserved for it, which is up to twice more then with 32bit system.
