Can launch the game but can't see it..?

It started happening seemingly out of nowhere a day or two ago.
I can launch the game and can watch the intro cinematic but then once the loading pocketwatch icon comes up and starts ticking the game goes away and I can only see the clock tick and hear the music? Was working fine beforehand.

my first ever thread by the way apologies if I lack anything
(And for a heads up I have tried verifying the integrity, reinstalling, disabling intro video, and starting it from steamapps in files, none of have worked it's all been the same result.)

right click v2game.exe, go to compatibility, disable full screen optimization

Use the instructions linked in my signature to get your accounts synced up and your game registered so you can see the subforums. There is also a link to tech support that you can use. In case madkobra's suggestion doesn't work out for some reason.
