There is some intense advertising campaign (really my Facebook ads are mostly convered in Tyranny) and big sales on Tyranny right now, connected to 2nd anniversary. But could it be true that something is going to be announced? Maybe another RPG in the universe or maybe some spin-off, fantasy grand strategy game? Does only Obsidian have the rights to Tyranny universe or could PDX be developing something on their own?

I want to believe something else is on the way. But I can't help but feel that it's just a nice time to cash in on the game with some late sales. Especially after the success of POE 2.

I hope that Obsidian have the rights so they are free to make a sequel or more content. It worked out that way with POE.
 
PDX owns the rights to Tyranny, and with Obsidian being bought by Microsoft I can't see Obsidian ever returning, which is sad. Hopefully we see a sequel though, Tyranny was fantastic.

I also heard some whispers about this being true, but never seen any confirmation. Would love to get one though.
 
I'd love a Tyranny 2. Problem is though with another company and different writers doing it, it's never quite the same.
Pity this game wasn't as successful as it should have been.
BW really didn't help though. Could have been good, but just fell flat.
