Suppose that there is a certain faction leader..Let's say "lower crown authority" faction. And you have leverage over the leader of that faction by "rightful imprisonment" via your spymaster's discovery of his plot.So you imprison him.Can he still present an ultimatum and launch civil war for crown authority? Mind you..he is a duke and you are his liege,a King and that he is imprisoned by YOU and not anyoneelse.

Or actually can any imprisoned vassals launch any ultimatum given that they are leaders of a certain faction? Can anyone confirm that ? Thank you. :)

If you are imprisoned (at least by your liege) you can't present ultimatums. Tried and tested, personally.

Thanks a lot.I was really curious about that. But I hope it also works the same for AI ? So in a way if there is really some strong and troublesome vassal, imprisonment is a guaranteed way to prevent him from starting a civil war,of course as long as you can afford having -40 opinion penalty on all other vassals.
