I'm not talking about about the forums, but I am talking about other services. I noticed you could save the character images in the email I was sent. Is it okay to use them as a profile picture or is there some sort of copyright issue?
Can I use the comic book characters as a profile pic?

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
I'm sure no one is going to sue you for using a character image as a profile picture elsewhere.
It's fine, that rule may be just not to use company logos and such that could be interpreted as misleading who you represent/work for.
With the new EU directive they don't need to. You'll simply be prevented from uploading it at all.
