Hi there, I have Victoria 2 which runs smooth on my computer, although according to www.systemrequirementslab.com it should not be able to run. Same with Crusader Kings II. I have passed everything but the video card it would seem. My question is, do you believe I would be able to run Crusader Kings II? As said, I get the same results from Victoria II and that game runs rather smooth. Thank you for your time.

My computer isn't suppose to be able to run any of the Clausewitz 2 games.With tha same results as you.It does fine and yours will also.

There was a graphics issue with patch 1.07 related to my subpar graphics card/chip, but that was fixed.

I'm not worrying about not being able to play a Paradox game until EUIV comes out late next year.

Don't worry about it, you'll be able to run it just fine. Just turn off trees and any lag will likely go away afterwards (My Documents>Paradox Interactive>Crusader Kings II>settings.txt).

Change draw_trees = yes to draw_trees = no. It's a huge help and you're not really missing out on anything by not having trees.

Thank you for your answers. I've been considering buying it quite quite some time now. Just ordered EU3 and Crusader Kings II will completle my timeline once I get money to buy it too. Thank you!

My computer passes all the requirements except for graphics card, but it crashes frequently. I changed some of the settings and it works great now.

I have to disagree with you there. I turn off trees and although I can play the game, I really miss the forests and landscape. It's still better than not playing, but it really bites to have to do that.

I think mos of the players including me prefer to play "independent realms"(or whatever its called) map mode, so it doesn't matter much for most of use, i have even turned off city models on my laptop.
