I played EU1 on a PII Celeron 333, 128k RAM, 32M 3d video card, and sometimes i had problems. Especially in Multi player games.

I think that (at least for EU) the RAM is more important than the Mhz.
And you have 96mb... I'm running with 64mb and have no problems at all.
Maybe you'll be able to play after all, but forget about Multiplayer!

viper37 betatested with a 300mhz K6-2 and 64mb ram and it worked.
Perkunas tested with a 200mhz pentium I with 64mb of ram and it worked.
The biggest thing to getting it work was RAM in my opinion. 96megs is prolly enough but I'd strongly recommend going upto 128 at least. Besides, RAM is cheap now. But ofcourse it's not a guarantee.

Only one correction... I tested with 128mb RAM, not 64.
It runs fine, slow but no hiccups. I'm impatient by nature, so I'm gonna buy another 128mb to get 256. Or I'll simply change computer when december comes.
It will run. But you will be frustrated at the speed. And there may be some delays at the end of the month/year when the computer calculates the numbers for each country.
Honest suggestion, buy more ram and get up to 128.

I have a pentium 1200 with 64 mb RAM, and at the end of each year the game freezes a moment so RAM is surely more important then processor speed.
I realy need more RAM.
