I do not have a printer, for some reason my printers break within two months of buying them so I quit wasting money on them. Can I download the manual and have a service print it out?

Is it LEGAL to have it printed? Will the service refuse because of copyright issues? As to up to date if it is even close that is better, I just can't get into reading it or referencing it . If this game is windowed it doesn't work for me, as soon as I leave and window it I can not get back. Including using the feature to look at historical facts on Nobility.
It's legal (correct me if I'm wrong) for private use only. Why wouldn't you be allowed to print out a manual?
But it's probably lacking in many aspects, and asking questions on the forum is a better idea as many players know more about the game than the manual will ever have.
I need basic guidance, how to do a lot of the things we are supposed to be able to do. For example, I have NO IDEA how to transfer my holdings to others. Had a revolt, put it down and now all 16 holdings are mine and I can only have 6 max. I have the guy in prison and it wont let me remove his titles the button is greyed out even though since he was a traitor my followers don't care. I could strip him of all titles but that would cause -110 to all my followers.
Go to the diplomacy screen with the person you want to give the titles to. You then click the "grant landed title" option to give them your title. If the title is lower than your primary title, they will become your vassal.
That would probably not be in the manual, but I've never checked. Most of your questions could probably be answered in the quick questions thread here.

Of course, it goes without saying that some things in there are outdated as well, and more recent mechanics wont get mmentioned (e.g. the pentarchy for Orthodox, the caliphate and decadence mechanics for muslims)

the manual? highly unlikely since they continuously add new content via patches and they rarely create/update manuals for their previous/other games, unless they revert to non-modular expansions (and are thus forced to make a new manual for that version). the current two gameplay-DLCs have no manual written along with them (and for good reason probably, since it means they're free to continuously change mechanics for balancing).
the guide? that depends on the writer, Meneth. Since he's also the writer of a major mod, it's less likely though.
the manuals and guides are a good place to start, but you should be attentive of small differences (granted, most mechanics changes are neither mentioned in the manual anyway)
