Can I get achievements on a 1.9.1 save in patch 1.9.3?

Disclaimer - I am a slow player. I have a couple old 1.9.1 saves I never finished playing from back in May/June. I updated HOI4 last month to 1.10 so I could play the new DLC. But now, I wanted to go back to those old saves, but the 1.9.1 version of the game is no longer available on Steam.

However, it does let me rollback to 1.9.3, and that version does seem to let me load the old saves without any obvious errors.

Does anyone know if this mismatch in versions will mess with my ability to get achievements?

I might still not be good enough to finally unite the crowns as Carlist Spain, but I would rather continue from where I left off than start from scratch.

You should be good; third numbers in the patch generally don't affect saves/save compatibility. Of course, make a backup copy first for safety.

Confirmed! I finished up my Anarchist Spain run from an old 1.9.1 save just now, and the achievement popped just fine even though the game was on version 1.9.3.

I wanted to add this comment in case anyone else has this question in the future.

if you revert to a previous patch you can only get achievements that existed at that time.
