Can I find out how a character was blinded?

One of my courtiers became my best friend, so I gave him some land and he became my religion.
Later I noticed he had been turned blind (he wasn't like that before). How did this happen? I'm assuming he was taken prisoner and someone did it to him. I'd really like to get revenge and obliette whoever did this to him (maybe I'll turn Byzantine and blind them. Revenge!)

How can I find who did this to him?

I think it will be one of the vassals with intrigue focus. Imprisoned him and instead of ransom they blinded him. You could reload as him and find out which of the vassals with intrigue focus he dislikes the most.

Anger the Greeks, get castrated/blinded, it makes espionage missions in Constantinople much more risky than elsewhere.

Well that explains /how/ it happened. He was my spymaster getting tech there. q.q

I looked at who he was angry at but none of them were -100 "Blinded me", and they were all in my realm. Oh well. Thanks for trying! I will just blind every single Greek instead.
