Can CK2 to EU4 export file work for EU4 1.25.1?

I just finished a CK2 campaign as Romans and exported to EU4. The conversion apparently worked fine, but when I fire up EU4 it notes the converted file is for EU4 version 1.26.*. I see a red flag noting that my version of EU4 (1.25.1) is not compatible. When I try to play anyway EU4 crashes to deck top during the load.

The problem: I absolutely hate the EU4 (Dharma) changes, so my EU4 is set to 1.25.1 - and it will stay there.

So am I stuck? Or is there a way to have the CK2 export file work on EU4 1.25.1?

Well, that is a total bummer. I was looking forward to the Roman Empire continuing its march to dominate the world.

I've done some further checking and it appears the CK2 to EU4 converter is version specific, so the EU4 version needs to be aligned with the CK2 converter version even if that requires roll-back. Unfortunately 1.25.1 is too far back to be compatible.
