Can Bulgaria switch factions mid-war?

So I bought BFTB and my first game was with Bulgaria.I went monarchist and joined the Axis.The war was going relatively good and chose to strengthen the royal dictatorship.However in 1943 things went downhill fast and I was wondering if Bulgaria has the option to change sides,similar to the one Romania has.

Bulgaria should be able to do it, so should Hungary.

Especially, if the devs wanna make Italian civil war.

Going communist works if you want to do the Balkan Federation, but otherwise I'd recommend sticking as one of the other 3. You lose way too much Generals.
