It didn't, when I killed this king few moths later I only got Castille and Galicia. My daugher got Leon :/

It's not gravelkind though, it's primo. The only thing I can think of is what Ritzz was talking about. If the crown authority in Leon was high that then Guillaume would be out of succession. The princess probably don't have land which means their inheritance wouldn't get blocked.
I'm actually not even sure High crown authority should block that inheritance, since it is supposed to block vassal titles from being inherited outside the realm. This is actually the realm being inherited whole, not a vassal.

If it is Primogeniture and The current King is still a child, then it will seek the brothers/children of the previous King and if he was different then you have your reason right there. Basically what Dsuke said.

Except that then he wouldn't inherit Castile and Galicia, held by the same person, and he did inherit those. And Ermengarde turn up as number two on the Castile and Galicia inheritance list. My money is on Crown Authority. (Especially since Ermengarde is the daughter of his character).

Crown authority :
Leon is on high, thus title can't go outside the realm... sadly, as the son is king, he's an out of the realm character thus he can't get the title. Thus he's eliminated from the succession of this kingdom.

It's interesting as I thought this option "not outside the realm" inheritance was a very good way to protect your realm to fall appart by inheritance of people... but it seems it can backfire...

Lower Leon crown authority

Solution by modding :
Create an empire in England or Iberia, vassalize your son and he should be back to the succession list.

I've checked crown authority in Leon and its indeed High so I guess you guys are right.
Although it seems it's a bug since crown authority according to the tooltips is supposed to only affect vassal titles.
