Can anyone answer me? Why?

First off all let me apollagise to put this question about EU2 here... "bow"

However.......my question:

Why, when i try to change a country name in the "country.text"...the name is not changed in the game?

and....why, when i change the province of a certain vassal in "revolt.text" and change his name to someother name, in the game the vassal is on the province i chose, but i cannot create him cause it says "indifined country" and it as a flag/shield in black/white?


And how/where can i change the name so the game would recognize it?

And how/where do i create a new country Flag/Shield/symbol (whatever) with new colors?


Once again soory if this tread doesn't belong here.... but plz somenoe answer me.

The change has to be made in text.csv.

Also, you can't create new country tags; you have to modify an existing tag. Thankfully, the developers expected people to want to and gave us those U## tags like U07 and U13....

Additionally, the names of the provinces on the map are hardcoded - they'll stay the same. The name you change in text.csv is the name that appears in the province management screen (and the name used for everything in the game except the graphical map).
