So what is the ratio of these brigade compared to other brigades in the army in order to get logistical combat bonus?

(Also, the army supply train tech say that it increase train supply capacity by 50%. Does this mean this improve the minimum ratio needed for logistical combat bonus?)

Thank you in advance for the answers and tips.

Does it add any combat bonus?
I think it only provides reinforcement to any unit in your army.
Which is already a big deal.
And what happen when your units are out of supplies? Well, they can't fight very well anymore.
They don't regain morale very quickly, they suffer attrition and get a negative fight attribute.
So yes, you can consider it gives your troops an indirect bonus.
I think it's pretty useless when you move your troops inside your territories, for instance.
It depends on where you're moving your armies though.

Anyway, to reply more accuratly to you, I guess you need as much "service brigade" as there is troops in your army.
If you have a 100k army, you need approximately 10 train supply brigade...?
That's probably not how it works. I wonder if you can sustain an army by just cycling supply trains.
I would gladly understand how the supply system actually work.

Bring a ***ktonne. Is my advice. I have 3 or 4 in my armies going into Spain[40k men], and it wasn't enough. If you highlight the supply on the units it will tell you how many days supply they are carrying, use that to judge how much you need. I tend to have a month at least, but if you intend on sieging something, 2 or 3 may be wise.
Being in supply gives 15% bonus I think, being out of supply is a huge disadvantage. Don't fight out of supply, ever.

You don't need any supply trains actually. Just a connection of controlled land between your country and your army. That is of course easier said than done, because the AI tends to cut supplies with those tiny 1.2k armies. Successfully sieged cities also produce (a few) supplies for you after some days time.

Of course with supply trains you can get 10% combat bonus.

True, but then you have to leave small amounts of troops behind the lines all the time, i prefer to haul my supplies with me and leave cavalry bait behind enemy lines and deplete my force!

yeah i am wondering about the minimum ratio of supply trains in my army to get that bonus. Some of my large army doesn't seem to get that bonus when they have 1k or 2k supply train. I think there is some kind of minimum ratio necessary to keep things going.
