The only challenge i experienced in campaign was the second german mission. Maybe the first german was ok too, as it was unclear where enemy would strike. But all the american, scottish and two latter german missions are somewhere between easy and faceroll tiers.
Not to say, that all of them are really short, missions are usually won in 20 min or so, and there are only 4 of them, so a whole campaign could be done in hour and a half. It's also mostly prevents player from using phase C units - they arrive too late, and in very little quantity.

I hope for more campaigns in DLCs, and i wish those campaigns be much more difficult, longer (time in single missions and overall quantity of missions), and, maybe, a bit more tactical - i would gladly buy something like first able archer mission in EE, where you get a small kampfgruppe and no reinforcements(except for secondary objectives), but a whole map with a lot of different tasks and objectives.

I think the campaign would need the option to adjust difficulty.
I heard for some news players some missions were too hard while some longer Beta players or Wargame Vets just raced through them.

Actually many non skilled players have problems with many missions, so IMO veterans and good players from wargame wouldn't have any problems, but casual and low players will have a lot of hard moments and fun.

Well, i do agree, that for newcomers current campaigns are fine, but it would be really nice if it was at least one truly hardcore campaign which would require some skill, or even luck to beat.

From having watched YouTube videos of a couple missions, what struck me the most is they seem to be pretty linear and scripted. Which of course isn't bad in itself, but if they're all like that, I hope DLCs will add more open-ended missions like the ones in the Wargame series.

I can understand the difficulty argument, though. Wargame gets a lot easier once you learn how to play it (and watch a few Stealth17 vids :p ). So yes, difficulty settings might be an idea. Then again, from what I've seen, it does seem like the devs are trying to teach players how to play with the way they make their missions.

I know that there are some modding tools featured on Eugen's forums, that are seldom talked about here at Paradox. I know units, decks, interfaces and the like are easily modded, but is it possible to build missions?
