Hi,

I know some people have problems with the campaign. So, I decided to make some videos to show you how I completed them. I show you every line and I explain their purposes. I also plan to make videos for the Munich campaign (even if it's easy) and maybe Tokyo.

You're welcome. I knew the lack of video walkthrough for campaign was a very important lack.

It's funny to see a different playing style from my own. I mainly use bus routes to connect tram/metro/waterbus stops. It seems you are using buses as the bulk of your transportation system, whereas trams are the bulk of mine... strange to see a different playings style.

That's because buses are cheaper than trams (I always have a way to finish a month wthout money ^^).

Well, I like using tramlines because finding out the optimal tramroute (passenger wise) combined with the optimal traffic avoidance (building most of it offroad) is one of the things I love most about this game. Busses, to me, are just there to feed my well thought out tramline into a metro. I'm also a "cheap player" I refuse to take out loans, so I grind it out until I can build what was in my head. Otherwise the game would get too easy. e.g. take out a loan, build bus-fed metro system, build stops & assign busses to do missions & delete afterwards -> scenario finished.

That's because tasks wants us to make very long lines. I don't always delete lines personally, I can also simply divide them.

I take loans at the beginning of the games if I need them to build a big and shiny metro which makes thousands of $. I prefer those that get refunded faster (in 2 years) so I only lose money for 2 years (and not 5), but I generally try to "refund" them when I have money for (if I have 3.000 and if there is a loan where less than 3.000 are remaining, I just say bye bye to this loan).

But the first tram line in my Helsinki guide is very nice, it acts like a metro for me...

With Fraps you cannot put text in the video, banners etc. Fraps you use to "film". But which one you use to edit?

Ah sorry. I use Windows Movie Maker (others just don't recognize Fraps format, dunno why - same if I try to directly convert to FLV with MediaCoder so I could upload videos with a bigger resolution).

I have a question.
i'm playing cities in motion the US DLC and i'm stuck at a certain mission.
you have to build 3 lines the prevent eventual earth quakes.
i've built an aerial line but when i try to build other lines it won't add up. I tried building a subway line that link the three sites (no success) same thing with the bus line (no success) and i need to build 2 other lines in order to continue the campaign
any help would be appreciated
