I've seen an event editor in the game files.

But can it be possible to have nice tools to build a campaign with a custom galaxy background that could be -eventually- a bit changed to planetary map? :)

I think I would require at least a way to change the galaxy background, to load my own jsons for the campaign, defining some new missions (like doing recon:reach 4 different points with 4 light mechs), the ability to deploy strikers/demolishers/LRMcarriers etc..., eventually load my own videos for the campaign.
I'm pretty sure it would benefit the studio as well.

A map editor would be so cute :) unless somebody gave me the materials, others assets and directives to allow me designing some maps with unity 5.x personal version. Of course we need a way to integrate them in the game afterwards

Actually a random map generator (a perlin noise one should do the trick) on which we could place manually assets would be very very neat feature. Then a contest would allow the studio to choose the best map for a free DLC. :)

Bigger Maps.
Remove enemy locations from the Maps unless it is a known base or hard structure.
Allow recon in light mechs to find enemy Mech, size of mech, size of enemy mech force, and escape .
