Campaign Question

It's been quite a while since I've played, and I've just come back with all DLC to start a new campaign. I just completed the first storyline mission that used to give you the Argo, at least when Battletech first came out. That's how long it's been since I've played.

I'm in 1.9 now, and I believe I recall seeing something about the Argo going in for repairs in the dialog following the Rescue the Argo storyline mission successful completion. I know for sure I read that Lady Arano paid off my loan. I'm starting the next mission (random mission) after the Argo storyline, and I'm noticing a 70k interest payment in the financials just after the Argo mission, and it continues into the upcoming financials.

When do I officially get the Argo? I guess I get it after it's repaired? Maybe a new storyline in the future?

Is there now some way I have to physically repay the bank so the interest payments stop? I can't locate an option to accomplish that task. Thanks.

You get the Argo once it is repaired, after another story mission. Not sure if it is the very next one, or the one after that, but basically, soon.

Lady Arano didn't pay off your loan. She bought it. Now you owe her the money. The terms haven't changed, so you need to pay the interest still. You pay it automatically as part of your monthly expenses. You won't be free of the loan until you restore her to her throne. It's basically there so that people playing "in it for the money" character have a reason to do her bidding. If you want the loan gone (and that's a big payday), do what she wants.

Note that the "repairs" don't take time specifically, they are finished after completing the next (or maybe the one after, I've forgotten) story mission. So do some side missions until the next story mission pops, but do it once it does (assuming you feel strong/healthy/repaired enough to do so).

Thank you. I did just receive the second storyline mission. I'm probably going to try that one tomorrow and take the Argo.
