Call to Arms timer?

I am France
I am allied to Castille and Provence
Austria is also allied to castille and provence.

I have Castille and Provence in a war with me, so when i declare on Austria they don't help him, but they seem to be able to wait forever before responding the Austria's CTA. It's been more than a year since my war with austria started and they still have an alliance with him, and when i did a quick test by ending my war with england they joined austria.

I thought there was a 1 or 2 month timer on responding to CTA?

They don't get a call to arms, because it is impossible for them to join a war against you while in one WITH you. Austria can manually give them a CTA if you end your first war, unless you are 30 months into your Austria war. To break the alliance, you'll have to force it through a peace deal.
