Currently, the Calamitous Birth origin added in Lithoids is a little.. underpowered.
Subterranean is objectively better due to uncapped mineral districts, honestly.
Calamitous Birth adds blockers for pops, but it doesn't do anything to contribute to Lithoids directly, such as increasing minerals or anything.

My suggestion is simple;
Make the Lithoid Crater planet modifier from the Lithoid Meteorite Colony Ship give:

+ Mining Districts to the planet
+ Minerals from jobs

This origin currently just adds blockers to the planet, and even with the Arctic/Cold world mineral bias, you aren't guaranteed to have enough minerals to actually do anything.
Which is why I've made this suggestion, I've left out numbers because that should be decided upon by people who actually do balancing.

Make the origin able to make unique ships called "meteor ship" that are one-time use ships.

Why restate exactly what the origin does? I'm suggesting some additions to it, the lithoid colony ships aren't that good when you compare them to how good Subterranean is. This origin needs some slight edits to be made more balanced, because it's just worse than Subterranean..

Oops, I meant, as in, military ships.

I love this origin thematically. It does do fairly well with Terravore , Expansion Tradition, Habitat Spam, and Volatile Land clearance. Each Habitat can start with 4 pops right off the bat. You can eat less ideal worlds to get the minerals needed to clear the blockers.

Always up for a buff though, because without terravore it is extremeley expensive to do.

That's why i've suggested these changes, it shouldn't *need* a specific Civic and intelligence style, and habitat spam; it should just be
better, overall.
