Well... I would like to see all my predictions fail 
But I agree that C:SL doesn't look like a disaster as SimCity was. Also the whole concept looks quite solid.
All depends on if CO masters to create a plausible simulation of the grand picture of a city, means your actions generate credible reactions of the citizens,
the traffic streams and the environment.
But the graphics imho still lacks some sort of reality I would like to see. While the office buildings and high rise apartment buildings are looking ok for, the residential area buildings and specially the industry and farms are looking too plastic, too toyish.
Here I really prefer the look of Cities XL.
