C.O.R.E. Models.csv

Recently we are working to polish and complete once for all the models.csv file for C.O.R.E..

The biggest difficulties are to find infantry units names (Infantry, Cavalry, Paratroopers, Militia, etc...) of all the nations...
So we thought that if each person that is browsing this thread can post the ones of his nation, our work will be a lot easier!

This thread can be used also to discuss about tanks, planes and ships models, if you feel there are some mistakes (But wait untill CORE 0.6 will be out, because we made a lot of changes ).

In case of USSR all the elites should be simply Guards, like Guards Infantry, Guards Mot. Infantry and so on...

If we want names to keep Russian look and sound, it would be:

This will help give local names for those classes of warship that a country didn't historically build. It would be much better to a 1000 tonne controtorpeidos than just a 1000 ton destroyer for Portugal. MDow

Thanks Ghost_dk! And yes, submarine can be usefull too!

Can I ask you if special character as 'æ', 'å' or 'ø' can be replaced by "standard" keyboard characters? I ask because probably those characters will appear totally different in America or Asia...

You have some good points, but you should just make changes of which you are 100% sure that they are correct.

Because when we decided to polish the CORE models.csv file, some of the old and correct entries were lost between tons of double entries...
I will replace the wrong lines.
I still don't know if it is the case to use special character like 'ä'
Don't know if the correct word is "Panzergrendier" or "Panzergrenadiere" since the latter is that I found in my books (that are italian, so can be easily wrong) and from that Fnt posted...

p.s. Why are you doing these changes? I thought that there would be a models.csv contest in the general forum.

The contest in the general forum is for the "vanilla" HOI, CORE include a lot of new infantry class (Elite and '44 pattern infantry), new tank models and a whole different ship class tree...

CORE is open to all people since the beginning, so if you have improvement suggestions of the current models.csv they are welcome!

Sometimes spanish is longer than italian! But there is no limitation, or better, there is, but the limit is greater
