Reading a book on the Ethiopian campaigns I noticed that the whole thing was decided not by manpower but but by the looted material in abandoned provinces which then could be used to field the war-decisive battalions.
Usually you get ressources when you annexed a state. I don´t think that´s enough and would imagine it to be cool when the capture of provinces would give a little amount of supplies as booty. The conquering army irl would get weapons, vehicles, food etc., unfortunately I don´t see any other way to reflect that than by 'supplies'.
any ideas, thoughts, opinions?
