Nah. Portugal shouldn't be able to field large land armies in Europe if we play a historical scenario. Unfortunately I can't stop them having a large standing army

(However this little fact constantly saves the ass of Spain, but eh )

OE is now cut off from the spanish alliance so wont be able to help me again.

Well, I do wonder why you simply attacked a strong alliance, instead of either arranging a one on one with me or trying to form a coalition yourself. Or wait till Turenne before launching such wars
I would have preferred some years of peace with Spain, since I still don't have an empire to speak about in the Americas.

By the way, I completely screwed the start of this war. Despite me having more income and manpower, I was quickly behind in battle warscore (and still am). In the sunday game I made such mistakes too. Wonder if I am starting getting rusty and old?

Thats complete crap tonio. Saying you dont know why? Look at the map duh. Also how am I aggresive? My wars have been as follows.

Venice and spain dow me and took land
austria dowd me and i took 1 prov
i dowd venice took 2 provs
spain, venice and port dowd me and took 6 provs without any other offers
i dowd venice and took 3 provs back (of which i had before)
spain port and venice dowd and took another 6
i dowd spain having had half my country annexed and lost another 4
the latest war


You call this me being aggresive? I have to say the community has changed a lot here. I feel either heartless powergaming is just the done thing or it is something more personal i dont know which.

What does bother me is how little anyone even speaks to me. When dowd the first offer i got in two of these wars was 4-5 prov stab hit.

I dont really enjoy playing this way to be honest. I prefer it when we dont ruin each others countrys so we can all enjoy the game. This is how it used to be anyway. Tonio you talk like i deserved this for something ive done but its not true. I have hardly dowd anyone this game. I actually suspect there are other reasons 'i deserve this' but i have no proof so there we are.

Id rather you finished me off though than leave me to play a wrecked country like this. I dont enjoy it but dont want to be a quitter. At least when brand was annexed he could move on to something else.

PS i think its pretty cowardly spain hiding behind this alliance both before and now. They have been stronger all game but wont face me for a 1v1.

I have no problem fighting an one on one with you. After this current war is ended, we can arrange a one on one. That does, however, not mean you simply attack when it suits you and I have to make it a one on one

I dont expect you to fight a 1v1 on demmand. It is your choice on how to play.

I asked shortly before the war if we could make it 1v1 but maybe you missed it. I didnt want to give too much warning though.

FAL, Portugal has 10MP for ages. It is specially annoying when you hire troops in Asia for local rebels, WE increases a lots
25-30MP is normal, doesn`t change much support limit of Porto, which goes 80% from other things.

Cheech, i don`t want to make discussion about your argues. Just last 7 months you dissapoint me with rather negative manner, where that is hardly required. Yes, i know, you don`t care about that and do what you want.

I missed two session. For me it looks like you humilated Venice at first. Then you were dowed for that by our alliance as reverse action. Then you tryed to kick again Venice. You went to hit not Spain, but Venice. That ended you lost french provinces. Then you started to fight to take them back, that is logical. But from the start you look for me aggressive side. Not Venice or Portugal or Spain came to your lands. They did in return for your actions. Of course your point of view can be different.

Last session you have good chance to get your goals, but our returning changed this war. As FAL i pretty doesn`t understand reasons why you just dowed again without Turenne.

I know the Portuguese manpower is horrible low. But that is how it was for Potugal in history, if you want to play a historical scenario it means strict limits for some countries. This brings challenges for those who want to play them. There just don't live many people in Portugal

But I could upgrade it a bit, since Madeira isn't European in watk3v1.

I wouldnt choose hard words like that... Your France is certainly ruined in one way (still can change; look at spains inflation)... But when you are speaking about a ruined game, it feels like that there is always a damocles sword over it...then it sometimes becomes selffulling...
